Sometimes it can be hard to ask for help and support, especially when you are feeling overwhelmed or unsure of who to reach out to in order to get the help you need. As an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist who draws from a number of therapeutic approaches, Charlotte believes that offering a safe confidential place to the talk, with the aim of reaching a greater understand of what is going on is the right first step.  She works at a pace that suits you in order for you to manage difficult thoughts and feelings, improve your health and well-being and, finally, enable you to effect positive change in your life.

Charlotte has wide experiences working in schools, pupil referral units and youth counselling services, providing early intervention for young people in one to one and group settings. These interventions include substance misuse, anger management, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, self-harm and sexual exploration. She also provides group workshops and one to one sessions in a prison environment.  Charlotte specializes in addiction (drug and alcohol and co-dependency) and relationship issues.

Charlotte believes that being heard in a calm nurturing environment is the most effective way of enabling you to take ownership of your life and any challenges or obstacles you may face.
