Robert Senior

Robert is a Humanistic counsellor whose work is based on the understanding that the quality of the relationship between client and counsellor is the major factor in effective therapy.

Robert’s empathy and understanding of others has been shaped and deepened over the years through his work with people who have experienced a wide range of challenging circumstances. He has helped adults suffering from addiction, members of Traveller and Gypsy families, prisoners, participated in group work supporting adults living with schizophrenia and the homeless.  He has worked one on one with adults and students in schools and colleges with special needs.  Robert also has extensive experience counselling young people at Chichester University.  

Drawing on this vast experience Robert has developed a counselling approach that is founded on respect, understanding and confidentiality. These elements combine to create an environment that encourages an individual to safely talk through any difficulties that are causing concern, whilst empowering him or her to challenge them and strive for a healthy well balanced life free of any emotional or psychological impediments.

Robert charges £60 per session.
