Privacy policy
This privacy policy is between you and The Practice only. Any other shared information is strictly between you and your Practitioner in line with UK safeguarding and governing body policies.

The Practice only collects information required to create an account including name, email address and telephone number. All other information is strictly confidential between you and your practitioner. No data collected by The Practice will be used for any other purposes other than to create bookings through the website. Information collected is used for the sole purpose of your bookings and will not be used for any other purpose.
The Practice will not receive data from any other parties or share data with any other parties.
Your email enquiry will only be shared with The Practice administration and therapy team in order to facilitate a booking or consultation. It will not be shared with any other third parties outside of The Practice. You email enquiry will be securely deleted after 30 days.
All data collected on the website will be securely destroyed within 2 years unless you request data to be deleted immediately. Your right to withdraw consent is facilitated by our “Request Forget Me” located in My Account

Secure Storage
With the client’s permission, I retain the following information:
Name
Date of Birth
Address
Telephone Number
Email
GP name
Basic information about family background, e.g. marital status, progeny, family of origin
Your personal information is stored securely, in locked boxes. Your address and phone number, etc., are stored separately from any additional information. Your phone number and email are stored in my password protected phone under your personal code. I will only make brief, handwritten notes of counselling sessions should the circumstances require. Any additional information will be kept in an anonymized manner. In the case of letters/emails to third parties requested by clients or other parties, a copy may be retained but any personal information will be securely redacted. Records of attendance retained for 6 years (as a requirement of my insurance) and are then securely destroyed. All your data is used in a safe and ethical manner in line with EU General Data Protection Regulations May 2018 (GDPR). It will not be shared with other people without your consent.
Right to Access
You have a right to ask for a copy of your personal information, free of charge (for the first request), in electronic or paper format. You also the right to ask me to amend or change any incorrect information about you. I reserve the right to charge for any subsequent requests for your personal information.
Right to be Forgotten
You have the right to ask me to erase any information that I hold about you. This includes your personal information that is no longer relevant to original purposes, or if you wish to withdraw consent. In all cases and when considering such requests, these rights are obligatory unless it is information that I have a legal obligation to retains (E.g., for clients ages under 18).
Data Portability
As a client, you have the right to receive your personal information which you previously provided. You also have the right to transfer that information to another party. For the purposes of the GDPR 2018, the data controller is your Practitioner.
