Nella Maguire

Nella is a UKCP accredited Child Psychotherapist who works with children and young adults up to 24-years-old.

Nella focuses on creating a safe and trusting relationship in which your child can share their thoughts and feelings. There is no set agenda in sessions; instead, your child will be encouraged to share what’s on their mind, to get to know themselves better, and work through personal challenges.

Nella’s approach combines person-centred therapy, attachment theory, CBT and a trauma-informed framework. Her integrative training allows her to personalise her approach. In addition to talking therapy, Nella is trained to use arts and play therapeutically.

Nella’s experience includes working in schools and children’s care homes, where she has supported young people dealing with anxiety, anger, sadness, bullying, parental separation, bereavement, domestic abuse, self-harm and body image issues. She is also experienced in supporting neurodiverse children.

Please contact Nella to enquire about availability, as not all spaces may be visible. Lower rates are available for sessions during school hours and online sessions for University students.

Nella charges £90.00 (50 minute session).
