Mel is an experienced, qualified counsellor & psychotherapist, registered with the BACP offering long and short-term counselling. She works with a wide range of clients whose issues include problems with relationships, identity, loss, work-related stress, social anxiety and abuse. She uses an integrative approach which means that she draws on a variety of approaches in her counselling practice.
Mel works relationally, which means she works alongside you to cultivate awareness of the patterns that are causing you difficulties in your relationship with your self and relationships with others. You then can begin to relate to those patterns in a new way. This brings about its own healing, enabling choices about how you would like to move forward in your life. Exploring this together, helping you to feel more positive about the future. Warmth, humour and gentle curiosity are central to Mel’s approach, ensuring a safe space where you can be truly heard.
Mel charges £65 for a 50 min session. Mel offers all potential clients a free introductory session via telephone or zoom.
