Catherine is a qualified Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, Counsellor, and Clinical Supervisor with extensive experience supporting individuals and couples through a wide range of challenges. Her work focuses on bringing the unconscious mind into awareness, helping clients to explore and understand their emotions, thoughts, and behaviours in a safe and confidential environment. This process enables meaningful change, personal growth, and improved well-being.
Catherine provides a supportive, non-judgemental space where clients can freely explore concerns relating to relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and many other personal difficulties. She works collaboratively to help individuals and couples gain insight, develop healthier patterns, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity.
In addition to her private practice, Catherine is part of the training team at Basingstoke Counselling Service (BCS), where she teaches across all Psychodynamic Counselling training courses, from Introduction through to Qualification. She is also a Clinical Supervisor on the qualifying Diploma training programme, supporting trainee and qualified therapists in their professional development. She also looks after the Continual Professional Development (CPD) programme here at The Practice.
