Cathy is a qualified BACP humanistic counsellor, experienced in working with adults and adolescents, face to face and remotely. She provides guidance on personal and psychological problems, using a person-centered approach in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment.
Using the person-centred approach allows Cathy to place the person at the centre of the counselling - dealing with the whole person and not just the problem. The core of this approach is to offer you empathy and acceptance without judgment and allowing you to feel safe and supported whilst in your counselling relationship. Cathy offers you a nurturing place where you can talk freely and honestly about what is troubling you, whilst being treated with dignity, compassion and respect.
Cathy works at a pace that suits you, as every person is different. She will work with you to help you manage difficult thoughts and feelings, to improve your health and well-being and to enable you to effect positive change in your life.
Cathy charges £60 per session.
