Ishpal is an experienced Chartered Counselling Psychologist and offers face to face and online counselling and psychotherapy for individuals and couples. She works with adolescents, adults and older people. Ishpal has more 14 years experience working in the NHS and in private practice. She has specialist knowledge and experience as a Senior Counselling Psychologist in Sexual Health, HIV, long term health conditions, health anxiety, sexual problems, depression and anxiety. 

Ishpal has extensive experience in working with adolescents and young people experiencing anxiety, health anxiety, depression, social anxiety, trauma, suicidality, relationship difficulties, sexuality, identity and adjustment difficulties. She works collaboratively and creatively to support young people and adolescents to explore and understand their difficulties. 

As a Counselling Psychologist, Ishpal is trained in several different approaches to therapy, and this enables her to provide individual or couple therapy that is centred on your needs and is unique to you. 

Ishpal has more than a decade of experience working providing specialist Psychosexual therapy to individuals and couples experiencing sexual problems and relationship issues.  

Ishpal is an anti-racist psychologist and an active ally of LGBTQ+ communities. As a psychologist, she has a particular responsibility to highlight and support individuals and communities who experience racism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia; any form of injustice that means people are treated unjustly or are ignored by society. In her work Ishpal seeks to challenge institutional racism, sexism, homophobia and transphobia, and create a service that focuses instead on empowerment, hope and equity.

Ishpal is registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and she is committed to high ethical standards of practice and professional development.

Ishpal charges £90 for individuals and £120 for couples.
