Amanda is a relational counsellor and psychotherapist who draws from a variety of therapeutic models and theories.  She offers a tailored and holistic approach to meet your individual issues and needs.

Amanda provides a safe, secure space and a strong, confidential relationship that enables you to fully explore your situation and to express yourself in ways that can be harder to do with friends and family.  Central to Amanda’s approach is the belief that feeling heard, valued, understood and accepted acts as a bedrock for healing.

Amanda has worked in a number of settings including hospices.  Bereavement is often a time when we experience a variety of very intense reactions and strong emotions.  Amanda’s experience working with bereavement has given her insight into working with a wide range of problems, including anxiety, depression, loss in its various forms, anger issues and identity crises.

Amanda comes from an artistic/theatrical background and believes we are all creative in a variety of everyday ways that can be harnessed as powerful tools for positive change.

Amanda practices in accordance with the BACP’s ethical framework for practice that includes commitment to confidentiality and respect of clients’ diverse and individual needs.

Amanda charges £60 per session. (Concessionary rates for students, low income or benefits)
