Susie Baker

Susie is a highly experienced counsellor and psychotherapist with over 20 years of practice. She specialises in supporting people through bereavement, grief and life-limiting illness, working in The Practice Weybridge.

A central part of her career has been managing the counselling service at a local hospice, where she worked with patients, families and carers navigating profound loss and end-of-life challenges. This invaluable experience has deeply shaped Susie’s therapeutic approach and given her unique insight into the emotional, spiritual and practical issues surrounding grief and illness.

Approach to Therapy

Susie offers a holistic approach to counselling, working with the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of well-being. Her aim is to provide a safe, warm and non-judgemental space where clients can process their experiences, reduce isolation and find strength and meaning even in the most difficult circumstances.

Supervision for Therapists

As a qualified supervisor, Susie also supports trainee and experienced counsellors/psychotherapists. She offers reflective supervision to help professionals build confidence, develop their own therapeutic voice and maintain resilience in their work.

Fees

Susie charges £60 per 50-minute session. She specialises in bereavement, grief, life-limiting illness, end-of-life support, loss, holistic counselling. Susie offers mobile counselling where she can meet clients in their homes (additional travel expense applies)
