Patrizia is an integrative-relational psychotherapeutic counsellor. She draws from a range of psychotherapy and counselling approaches to suit clients’ different needs. She offers a warm and confidential space where your life difficulties can be explored together.
Patrizia believes that developing a safe client-therapist relationship with empathic understanding and non-judgemental acceptance, enables clients to better understand their emotional world, to recognise their patterns and find a healthier way of being with themselves and others. She values the individual’s potential for growth and capacity for change. She will support you in giving a voice to your needs as your emotional well being is her priority.
She has deep awareness of social and cultural diversity and differences. She has been working in a NHS surgery for several years, offering short and long term counselling in Italian and English dealing with a wide range of issues: depression, anxiety, self-harming, abuse, stress, trauma, bereavement, anger, self-esteem, suicidal ideation and Asperger’s syndrome.
Patrizia has qualifications in Mindfulness and Outdoor Therapy (Walk and Talk Therapy).
Patrizia charges start from £70 per 50 minute session (a sliding scale can be considered for those with financial difficulties).
