Mike Evans

Mike is a fully qualified counsellor and a registered member of the BACP.

As an integrative counsellor Mike draws on a number of different therapeutic approaches to inform his work and which best address the needs of his clients depending upon how their own unique set of life circumstances, difficulties and challenges have shaped and impacted them.

Mike is here to listen to you and to help you explore your issues, fears and concerns carefully, empathically and without judgement. He will provide you with a safe space in which a trusting relationship can develop so that you can increase your wellbeing, alleviate your distress and become the best version of yourself.

Mike has worked in the NHS and in Schools and also has his own private practice. Prior to qualifying as a counsellor, Mike worked in the corporate world for many years and has experienced the rigours and pressures that this can bring.

Mike offers both short and long term counselling, although he recommends that you commit to a minimum number of 6 sessions as, in his experience, this is the optimal number of sessions in which a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship can develop.

If you are interested in working with Mike, he offers a free 30 minute consultation, either by phone or online, to understand your needs and in which you can raise any questions that you may have. He charges £60 per 50 minute session, although concessionary rates are available; please contact Mike for more details.
