Helen McCallion
BACK TO PRACTITIONERSHelen is a Trainee Counsellor who, having completed her formal training (a foundation degree in integrative counselling), is now building her practical experience towards qualification as a BACP registered adult counsellor/psychotherapist.
Her integrative counselling training means she draws on a range of therapeutic methods uniquely tailored towards each of her client’s needs. The therapeutic relationship is at the very heart of her approach. Through building a secure, collaborative and reparative space, Helen aims to provide the conditions whereby her clients may explore their presenting needs and patterns of relating, process their experiences and, in time, find a clearer path forward.
Helen also has extensive experience in the corporate world, having spent the last 15 years working with leaders as an executive coach. She integrates her coaching experience into her counselling approach as needed. She works with her coaching clients on their well-being and resilience, enabling them to find a more sustainable work life balance, including navigating workplace pressures, organisational dynamics and difficult relationships.
Helen’s counselling and coaching clients find her warm, genuine and accepting in relationship, while keeping focus on their therapeutic goals. She has experience of working with adults of all ages across a range of general issues including:
- Loss and life transitions;
- Life limiting illness;
- Anxiety;
