Helen BeavisBACK TO PRACTITIONERS
Helen is a Trainee Counsellor in her final year in training for Masters in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy
If you are finding everyday living a struggle and feel that you have lost a sense of who you are , Helen can help you rediscover your full potential. Are you finding relationships difficult? Do you just feel stuck?
Helen works with people who are struggling to understand why they are thinking, feeling or behaving in a certain way.
Building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship, she helps them to explore, recognise and overcome their current difficulties by bringing these patterns into their awareness and working through them together.
Her approach is integrative, which involves working with clients to understand their story and, together, to help them move forward more positively in the world. It’s about being aware and curious together.
Her belief is that there is not just one simple truth, in terms of theory or perspectives that help a client move forward. But that at its heart is a human being with feelings, thoughts and behaviours who, through their own experiences, have lost their way - but with sensitive and informed collaborative exploration, can begin to regain the right path for themselves.
Whether you have issues with anxiety, depression, confidence or relationships, Helen believes by providing a safe, non-judgemental space to be listened to and heard, positive change can happen.
Has experience working with:
- General issues
- Low self esteem
- Low mood/depression
- Relationship issues
- Intrusive thoughts
- Mental/emotional abuse
Helen offers a reduced rate of £30 per 50 minute session.
