BACK TO PRACTITIONERS

Alice has an interest in how patterns in thinking and behaviour may be linked to the past, recognising that it can be helpful to look at the past to understand our present.

Alice wants all her clients to feel heard, valued and understood – supporting clients to explore their perspectives and empowering them to experience change. She strongly believes that we all have the potential to change and move through difficulty and that a therapeutic relationship can support us to harness that power, even when it might seem difficult.

As an integrative counsellor, she is influenced by a variety of psychological approaches, her training is predominantly person-centred and psychotherapeutic which means she believes clients hold answers to their own difficulties and recognises that it can be helpful to look at past relationships and trauma. She also feels that there is value in exploring how she interacts with clients in the therapy room, believing this can shed light on relational patterns the client may be experiencing outside the counselling room.

Alice came into counselling after an eleven-year career as an A level Psychology teacher. She made the decision to pursue her life-long interest in Psychotherapy and has never looked back. She is a qualified Integrative Counsellor and member of the BACP, she offers both in person and online sessions. She also offers a free 15 minute consultation.

All sessions are 50 minutes long and are charged at individuals £65.
