BA(Hons) Integrative Relational Counselling, MBACP
From £65.00 (50 minute session)
Larissa is a psychotherapeutic counsellor with a degree in Integrative-Relational counselling. She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and abides by their ethical guidelines.
Alongside her private practice, Larissa provides counselling in a local bereavement service and a NHS setting. Although she works with a wide range of issues, such as low mood, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, Larissa has a special interest working with bereavement and loss. We are all likely to lose a loved one during the course of our lives, yet it can be so difficult to talk about our loss and process the chaotic array of feelings we might be experiencing. A strong and safe counselling relationship might not take the pain of the loss away, but it can be a safe space within which to explore those feelings and start transforming our grief into something more manageable. Larissa also enjoys working with individuals who have moved to the UK from abroad and may be struggling to adjust or feeling homesick or lonely. She has an interest working with older individuals and with clients who want to develop more self-compassion.
Whether you have had counselling before or not, reaching out for help can feel daunting and scary. Perhaps it feels like a sign of weakness or a failure, but it actually takes a lot of courage to reach out, develop trust and face your difficulties. Larissa's compassionate and non-judgmental approach can really help you feel that it is ok to talk and receive some support.
Larissa has experience working with low self esteem, self criticism and relocation related stress. She also has an interest in working with older adults.
Larissa works face-to-face at The Practice in East Molesey, she offers outdoors sessions (Walk & Talk) and online / phone therapy. She works both in English and in French.
Larissa is registered with Cigna Health Insurance.
Fees are £65 per 50-minutes session.

"When I started seeing Larissa following a bereavement, I was all over the place. The counselling slowly helped me slow down, process some of my grief and start focusing on me. I know this is not the end of my grief but I feel much more at peace now and I know she is only an email away if I need more support."
