Kate is an experienced and compassionate counsellor, who offers a confidential, non-judgmental space, where you can talk freely about what is concerning you. She is a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and works with both individuals and couples.
You may be feeling weighed down by life, overwhelmed by emotions of anxiety or depression, or perhaps struggling with work or relationship issues. The idea of counselling can be daunting, however, sharing your concerns with someone who is not directly involved can bring relief, new perspectives and help you feel better able to cope in new ways. Kate will help you explore your thoughts and feelings, and how the past and unconscious may impact your current situation. This approach brings self-awareness and understanding of unhelpful repeating patterns, or unresolved issues, enabling you to recognise your true, deep-rooted feelings and remove obstacles for positive change.
Sometimes relationships can seem such a struggle. Kate works with couples to explore concerns and difficulties in relationships, to help gain greater understanding and communication. Perhaps you are at a crisis point, feel stuck, or trying to work out whether to stay together or separate. Or maybe you are experiencing difficulties with the arrival of children, cost of living, or maintaining a loving, fulfilling connection. I will listen and support without judgement.
Kate works with people who come to counselling for many different reasons, including, but not limited to those experiencing, depression, anxiety, anger, relationship difficulties, burnout, grief, bereavement, or traumatic experiences.
Kate offers short-term or open-ended counselling, working at a pace comfortable to you. Please email to book a free 10 minute chat to answer any questions, discuss ways of working together and availability.
Kate charges £60 for individuals and £90 for couples, offering face to face and online sessions. All sessions last 50 minutes.
